A little about me...
I grew up in North Leawood (93rd and Lee Ct) and attended Corinth, Mission Valley, and Shawnee Mission East. I didn't go too far after high school and landed in Lawrence at The University of Kansas where I was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Anthropology.
After college, I held various sales and customer service roles within the Dental, Foodservice, Oil & Gas, and Railroad industries which all gave me invaluable experience for what I was going to do next, start my own business. I started the digital marketing firm, Cuvée KC, in August of 2016 after talking with small business owners and hearing their frustrations on how they wanted to have an increased digital presence but didn't have the budget to work with the larger companies in town. Our business model is catered to those small businesses who see the value in having a strong and informative website, creative content for social media, and the importance of managing your online reputation through Google Business and Meta. I'm always eager to learn new things and sharpen the skills I've learned over the years. A few years ago I furthered my education by attending online classes from Duke University where I earned my Digital Media & Marketing certificate.
Volunteering within my community has always been near and dear to my heart. I am currently serving on the board of the Leawood Homes Association and I have previously been apart of many great organizations (you can check them out on my LinkedIn page).
My wife, Lauren - who also grew up in Leawood, and I bought our home on 92nd & Belinder 2 years ago after a short stint in Prairie Village. We always knew this was the neighborhood we wanted to end up in and raise a family. We both love traveling and being able to explore new places but when we're home, you most likely see us walking our puppy, Luna, around the neighborhood. A fun fact, my Dad held this exact city council seat from 1995-1999 and then again from 2004-2010. It was seeing how much he loved serving and interacting with the Leawood community during this time that inspired me to become more involved in whichever community I ended up planting roots in. Leawood has always held a special place in my heart and it’s a community I’m proud to be a resident of.💚
